How to eat seasonal food throughout the year.

August 4, 2021

There are several benefits of buying and eating seasonal food throughout the year. First of all, fruits and vegetables that are in season have better taste and more nutrients and are therefore also healthier to eat. Also the climate footprint on the food is much smaller when it’s grown locally and has a shorter transportation route. Moreover, buying food that is in season will often be less expensive as the supply of the seasonal food is higher, which decreases the price. So all in all, there are many reasons to start eating seasonal food.

We’re giving you a list of some of the fruits and vegetables that are in season in NordicGrow’s home country Denmark throughout the year.
